Funny you should ask. I was just thinking about that and realized I haven't really cooked anything from Pinterest this month. That's not to say I haven't cooked at all, I have, I'm sure of it… but what was it??? I know I've made something from scratch since my last post, hmmm…
Oh yeah, I remember now, I've been playing around with crepes. Testing out different batters. I guess I should say tasting out, because the technique didn't change for any of them only the ingredient amounts were fiddled with. Also, they all work, just some taste better than others. So after tasting five different variations (even one from Alton Brown) I have to say the my favorite recipe came from my niece Kali. She has been cooking crepes for a number of years now and by tinkering with the recipe she has been able to find a balance that really makes them perfect.
And I just realized the mushroom soup we have been making for the past month is from Pinterest. So, in the next week or so I'll be posting both the Crepes and Mushroom Soup recipes. I just need pictures, because everything is better with a photo.
